Nice campsite within cycling distance of Tomar. Beautiful surroundings, although they have taken quite a beating from the weather of the past few months. This makes the recommended waterfall route all the more exciting! Especially since the description turned out to be incorrect... Where it mentions following a gravel path, it actually refers to a brand-new asphalt road. We followed the adjacent path and got stuck at the repair work. Didn't see a single waterfall!

What a paradise, a terraced campsite that exudes tranquility. A very comprehensive information folder was provided upon arrival. A friendly welcome; you immediately feel at ease. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities. Good sanitary facilities, and they're working hard to modernize everything. You can take your dog straight into the woods. We stayed here for nine days and moved on because of the weather, but this is a campsite to remember. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place, friendly welcome. It's fun to cycle to Tomar and definitely worth visiting the monastery. The bar is also a nice place to have a drink and get tips. There are still areas for improvement, as they're just starting up. Tip: nature should be nature; we love it. But try to keep things a bit cleaner around the toilet, shower, and dishwashing area. Definitely recommend coming back. Good luck with everything!
