Register at reception with or without electricity. Free shower and toilet. The water in the shower smells of sulphur (but that's normal) but is still kept clean. Few pitches, so you should probably reserve in advance.

Small, organised, sheltered campsite with paved (camper) pitches (reservations in advance via the website - in English - are not rocket science!).
Sanitary facilities accessible via 'code' (no uninvited guests).
You are 'in the heart' of Reykjavik in 20 minutes!

When we arrived the barrier was open. Booking via the website went wrong for us, but we called the manager and he resolved it fine. The campsite is pricey: €43.50 for camper 2 people and electricity per day, with bus 1 to Reykjavik, a 1.3 km walk. through the park to the stop only pay in cash, we paid 1000 kr for 2 tickets that are valid for 2 hours.
