Nothing but praise for this campsite. Friendly welcome, clear explanation regarding the costs, and super clean sanitary facilities. The owners deserve more than 5 stars!!!

what a cool campsite this is. great facilities, but again near the reception. if you arrive later you are a bit further away from the otherwise great showers. the view is phenomenal.

Great campsite with a view of the village and the lake. Showers and toilets were clean. The discharge facilities were a bit of a puzzle. The grey water can just flow over the bottom. It is true that a lot of domestic waste water is still infiltrated in Iceland. It is not optimal from an environmental point of view, but on a small scale it does not do much harm, because there are a lot of bacteria in the soil that ensure the decomposition.
