A great campsite in a beautiful setting. The magnificent castle is just a short walk away, and it's a wonderful place to stay along the Cher River. It's fun to cycle through the charming villages. The bakery in Franceuil is better than the one near the castle. The swimming pool and playground are great for children. The sanitary facilities are dirty. There are only two men's toilets in the main building, so cleaning once a day isn't enough.

Campsite on the shore with a view of passing boats. The swimming pool is small but nice. We chose it for its location relative to the castle.

The decoration around the pool (fencing) and the sanitary facilities could use a makeover. The restaurant has a good menu, but reservations are recommended. The staff is very friendly.

Large campsite on the Cher, 1.3 km from the beautiful chateau Chenonceaux. Sanitary and camper service facilities are good. The campsite pitches are all close to electricity and water. However, the pitches are very open without hedges etc., which makes it look a bit messy. However, there is sufficient shelter from the sun through large trees. Place to relax by the water.
Restaurant is good but reservations are necessary. Very busy.
Poor reception by phone.
