It would have been nice, but unfortunately, online pre-booking is now the only option. Reservations and payments via the Alpaka CampingApp are now only possible online. The campsite is, as always, in a really good location.

The cost is €15 per day, payable with coins (€2, €1, and €0.50). This is a medieval payment method. Electricity is also paid with €1 coins. Before 8 a.m.: €1.
Bad Orb is a beautiful medieval town in Hesse. It features many half-timbered buildings dating back to the 13th century. The Tuscan thermal baths are also worth a visit.

The parking space is OK. It's quite slanted, but you can level it out a bit with wedges. Electricity is available for a fee, as is fresh water. Wastewater and garbage disposal are free. But:
The fantastic thermal baths, the spa gardens and the graduation tower are definitely worth a visit. As is the lovely old town. Everything can be reached on foot. We'll definitely be back.
