If you drive a few km towards Izmir and at a large parking lot (coastal side) on a hill, an asphalt road goes to the beach. It is quieter here and on the north side there is less wind because you are against the mountains. There is also a freshwater stream where you can rinse off after swimming. Small village 6 km away for drinking water from a village tap and shops for daily groceries and of course a tea house

Nice on the sandy beach, right by the sea.

end of October 2012 we stood here on the beach with ca. 5 campers. It is a nice quiet place. the sand is firm enough for a medium-sized motorhome.
