### Challange2024 - 3/5
*May 2026*

Thanks for the tip about Parkia, that was very helpful. However, only 3 stars because without a code we had to go to P1 to the gatekeeper and prove we had booked two nights. We left after one night, though; the site was dusty, hot, and without any shade, service, or electricity for air conditioning. No animals allowed in the car!!! It was so hot—and no tickets for the Alhambra, even at short notice… Spain with a large dog is difficult…

I only partially understand why this campsite has so few stars. Pre-booking through Parkia allows for a stress-free arrival (even an hour after booking, because we got stuck in traffic). The campsite is quiet, safe, and incredibly close to the Alhambra and Generalife. We also had dinner one evening at Janines Alberto, which was delicious. The bus at the roundabout takes you into the city for just €1.60! Highly recommended!

P5. Everything as described: safe, clean, and quiet at night. Approximately 800m to the Alhambra entrance; from there, buses run down to the city center. Tip: Book in advance on Parkia; it's significantly cheaper and guarantees your spot. If you have any problems, there's someone at P1 you can ask for help.
