8 euros per night is correct, and it is certainly a beautiful spot. It would be nice if, for that price, they would at least provide a disposal point for your toilet. Especially since I read in other reviews that some people empty their bins in the bushes.

Beautiful spot. You obviously have to be lucky to get a spot by the water, but other than that, it's fantastic. It's 600 meters from Rothsee, where you can swim wonderfully and there's a special dog beach.

We paid 7 euros. We did indeed see some A.L.s emptying their toilets in the bushes at the back, near the sheep pasture. Not necessary at the CP at Rothsee, on the other side of the bridge (500 meters), where you can empty everything and fill up with water for free.

A super nice spot by the canal at an unbeatable price. Comparable sites in Switzerland cost between €20 and €50.
Everyone brings their own toilets, so if not, it's better not to camp there. The poop in the hedges is disgusting! The result is that municipalities will eventually stop providing such great sites.
Waste disposal is free at Rothsee.
We'd be happy to come back anytime. Many thanks to the municipality!
