The campsite is located on Ratzeburgermeer lake; water sports are available in the marina below, including swimming. There's a lovely Greek taverna that changed owners three months ago.
There's a raspberry farm around it. The campsite is a bit pricey, probably due to its location.

The campsite was certainly adequate. The lady was very friendly. The sanitary facilities were adequate and clean, cleaned twice a day. Camper site W1 is not recommended due to the noise. The campsite is beautifully situated, but it's very noisy until around 10:30 PM. It really deserves 4 stars. However, the restaurant is extremely poor. The food is tasteless, the staff unhygienic, and terrible. The manager was insulting to my wife, even rude. Definitely don't do it! The restaurant doesn't get a star.

We are here at the end of April at a relaxed campsite. Not too full yet, super clean and with a wonderful view over the lake. Friendly welcome. Restaurant okay for a plate. Stay at least 2 nights.
