Beautiful city campsite. Pitches along the wall are booked up quickly. After the reception, turn left and head up to the separate field. Very beautiful and spacious pitches on grass. Blocks are needed. Sanitary facilities are simple but good. The town center is a short walk away. Note: everything is closed between 12 and 2 o'clock. At the tourist office: rent an electric bike and a ticket for the little train. The ride along the city walls is highly recommended.

Cons: reception only opens at 5:30 PM. The group of permanent residents is very noticeable.

Nice spot for 1 or 2 nights; we use this campsite as a stopover. The spots by the city wall are usually occupied by caravans. Fine sanitary facilities, just bring your own toilet paper.

For years, we have been coming to this beautiful spot, which gives us a nostalgic feeling of “coming home.” The municipal official (?) seems to know us and always welcomes us very kindly in Dutch. Every year I hope that maintenance has been carried out on the grounds and in and around the beautiful toilet building, but alas... Such a shame, because it is such a beautiful place high inside the city wall, right up against the center...
