As many have already mentioned, the reception and everything in the toilet building near the restaurant is outdated and is no longer being repaired.

Warning: Camping is not recommended at the moment: Access is very poor, the road is torn up. The waterfront promenade is closed, and access to the bridge into town and the ferry is only possible on foot via a significant detour. The reception staff are unhelpful when asked about the situation, and there are no signs indicating how to get into town. What a shame.

Very large campsite but dated.

Showers are very cramped; you can barely turn around. The toilet block is clean, though. Many taps are loose.

PLEASE NOTE: I went outside the gate just before 10:00 PM to take some photos of the city of Avignon. Upon returning, the gate was closed; I had to climb over the fence to get back in. There was a lock with a numerical code, though this was not communicated.
