Beautiful place. Only the prayer through the loudspeakers gets annoying after a while. Monastery is definitely worth a visit.

been here before on the way back to / from Craiova on the large parking lot to full satisfaction.
On Thursday 7 September we wanted to spend the night here again, the large parking lot was closed with chains. When asked by my wife, who speaks fluent Romanian, they said that the large parking lot is private property and closed because everyone just parked the camper everywhere.
In the small parking lot it was not known or possible

Read the previous reviews, they give a good idea of what to expect.
The loudspeakers go out at 8 p.m., then it is wonderfully quiet.
No place for late risers bells wake you up at 6am then the speakers go back on for prayer
