Perfect campsite for the undemanding camper. Large pitches. However, you cannot reserve per pitch. Clean sanitary building. Basic price is okay, but there are additional costs.

Charming campsite by a small river. Friendly owner and friendly service at the reception, shop, and coffee corner. Excellent and clean sanitary facilities. A 20-30 minute walk to the idyllic village of Monschau. For us, definitely a place to return to!

Unfortunately, a very customer-unfriendly experience with a red-haired woman in a green baseball cap. The sandwiches we ordered turned out to be soggy twice and didn't smell fresh. She couldn't handle criticism. She told us we should just leave the campsite and that we weren't good customers. I have traveled all over Europe but never met such an unfriendly person. A course on how to deal with customers is probably wasted on her; she is too arrogant for that. A shame, because it is a good campsite!
