Stayed here for the last two weeks of May 2026. Very pleasant campsite: not too big, so not too crowded; excellent sanitary facilities; bread roll service; soothing birdsong and cuckoos; an exceptionally nice, helpful owner who also speaks at least four languages. 70 minutes by boat to Brno. Various cultural and historical trips are possible from this location. Also had great opportunities for road cycling. Happy! Definitely a place to return to...🙂

Nice, simple campsite. Clean showers and toilets.

The site is in a kind of circular layout, so there's plenty of space in the middle. The owner speaks perfect German, English, and Dutch.

We paid 480 kroner, negotiable. He initially wanted more because of the 8-meter length.

Showers cost 30 kroner, but we got them for free.

The reservoir is about a 70-minute boat ride away.

The castle is about a 30-minute bike ride away, although the path is partly gravel.

The town is great.

On the way there, we stopped by to see Jan again. We heard that his mother had recently passed away. We are curious to see how things will proceed now. We took the boat to Brno twice when we were there. This time by bus and train. It looks beautiful and dirt cheap. Actually easier and faster than by boat and tram, but of course less scenic. It is wonderfully quiet at the campsite at this time. It's a shame that the boiler in the washing-up room was broken.
