We ended up here during the Whitsun holidays; Rottevalle was the plan, but the spots there were too small for our camper.

We just had to find a spot ourselves that was available and had shore power for us.

We were parked at a site where chalets are being built, so the toilet block is quite far away.

The surroundings are fantastic.

Drachten is 3 km away and easily accessible by bike.

A few years ago, we were completely satisfied with our first campervan stay at this site, and last weekend we traveled to "De Lits" again. We were the only campervans there this time, but despite the winter season, there's always something going on in a marina. The site manager was very helpful and accompanied us to show us the best spot. We had another wonderful weekend and will definitely be back.

Nice place to stop for a bit. Unfortunately, the shower wasn't hot, even though we paid for it. Otherwise, we had a great time.
