We parked our Volkswagen camper van on a green camping spot (zone 8). The campsite is a good base for visiting Siena, but certainly also for making beautiful bike rides (Strade Bianchi) from there. The sanitary facilities were clean. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was not yet open. We stayed for five days and had a great time!

A great place to visit Siena, but you have to take the bus. Tickets are available at the campsite reception. Cycling into the city is easy, but the last part of the way back is a challenge for many cyclists. We had to walk part of the way, so we decided to take the bus the next day.
The campsite is also quite steep. Make sure the spot they assign you is also somewhat level.

great location, friendly and helpful staff, restaurant and supermarket (we did not use, but looked good).  easy walk to the bus.  very clean, quiet.
