Lovely place. All amenities. Quiet location. Beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking. Passing trains were not a problem for us. It used to be a campsite. Saint Benoit is also very charming.

For the approach route, it is better not to follow your navigation system. Follow the signs for Aire de Camping Car Park and you won't be bothered by the narrow 2-meter street. You will then enter via the charming village of Saint Benoît. The campsite is beautifully situated. On Saturday, we were not bothered by trains. Sometimes for 10 seconds and very softly. Heard nothing during the night. A woodpecker and a cat in heat. The toilet block is not finished and open. Eating at Bistro Petite Benoir 👌🏽

In total, 10 paved spots have been created on the former campsite. Will the other spots be improved as well???? The old train bridge is right behind the campervan site and is also walkable. The regular train is clearly audible and continues through the night, so do keep that in mind. In the morning, the barrier wouldn't open even though I followed the correct procedure; after a quick call, I was outside within a minute. Super!!
