We stayed here for a night in September. Reception is closed until 3 PM, and at that time there were at least 15 campers waiting. We didn't recognize the chaos they describe in the reviews; everyone can find a spot they like. French toilets, plenty of hot water in the showers. Bread is sold in the morning, not bakery-quality, pre-baked bread... but manageable. You can reach the beach via a path...

Crowded and chaotic, we loved it! We were able to walk to a spot upon arrival. We were with two campers, so it was difficult, but we managed 😊
Plus, it's close to a beautiful beach, and you can enjoy lovely walks there.
Food trucks are available.
Con: No light at several restrooms in the evening. What really surprised us was the difficulty in claiming a spot. Many people had either dragged their clothesline, chair, or line across the ground! A bit antisocial.

If you like crowds and chaos, this is the place to be. Not for me, though. I checked out after a few hours, without any problem and free of charge.
