nice place on grass camping or gravel camper place.
nice bike starting point, info available.
also canoe trips.
with simple restaurant with terrace.
care and electricity possible, showers extra pay on a card, 5 E. DEPOSIT.
instead of 2 still stayed 6 nights at the beautiful Altmuhltal. CYCLING!

A recreational facility with boat rentals, a tent area, grassy pitches, and gravel RV parking spaces. The latter is relatively new, with no shade from the trees yet. Modern restrooms and shower facilities. A beautiful location directly on the Altmühl River and the bike path. Overcrowded on Corpus Christi weekend—as expected.

The site is tidy, with very friendly staff.
Simple hot meals are available.
Pitches are on gravel and grass.
The restrooms are OK, but the number of toilets and showers could be limited: four toilets and five showers each. This is due to the large campsite attached.
Prices: €16 per night including two adults.
Electricity, fresh water, and showers are billed via token.
Toilets/wastewater are free.
