Ideal base for exploring the region. Opposite the entrance to Pompeii (go early!). And the train to Naples is nearby. We also arranged a boat trip to the Amalfi Coast via reception with pick-up at the campsite, which is ideal and convenient. Busy surroundings, the campsite is a bit busy too, but definitely manageable in May. Reception is very helpful. Sanitary facilities are basic, except for a washing-up area with hot water. 31 euros per night including electricity.

The only unique selling point of this campsite is its location directly in front of the archaeological site.

Otherwise, the pitches are cramped, the sanitary facilities are just about acceptable, and overall the place is rather neglected, but it's okay for a short visit.

We only paid €24, including Wi-Fi but without electricity.

Perfect location to visit the excavations of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. Naples and Sorrento/Capri can be reached easily and cheaply by train. Restaurants and supermarket within walking distance.
Sanitary facilities outdated, but fine. Showers nice and warm. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
