Never again! What a disappointment. For €180 for two nights, you expect at least a modicum of quality, but this campsite was a huge letdown. In the morning, you get soggy rolls that are clearly from the day before. The owners radiate a grumpy disposition. If you mention it, you're told they're tired. Hospitality seems to be an unknown concept here.
The showers? Mold in the corners. KEEP GOING!

Austria is expensive, especially near major cities. You know that beforehand.
A great campsite with everything you need. Small shop, bread rolls in the morning. Cozy restaurant. Neat and clean restrooms. Good instructions on how to get to the city.
A 10-minute walk and then a bus to the city. Note that the Altstadt (Old Town) isn't near the main train station, but further away. In the Altstadt, the sights are all close together.

Great campsite and a good base for visiting Salzburg.
It's a bit pricey, though. We paid €110 for a campervan for two people (including electricity).
The sanitary facilities are excellent, with lovely, spacious showers.
There's a great restaurant on the campsite.
