A lovely, free spot right on the Rhine with a view of the river and the ships. The spot has no facilities whatsoever. Anyone without a toilet on board cannot use the spot and must take their trash with them. Thanks to inconsiderate individuals who defecate in the bushes and simply dump their garbage in nature, such free opportunities are increasingly being prohibited.

Hoekerd, were you at the right place? We go there twice a year and the area is paved.
Often the same campers. Not a single facility, but that is why we have a camper. Peace and quiet, that is what we are looking for.

In the category of bleak, this place deserves a solid 10. Mud as far as the eye can see. There was a dilapidated "motorhome." Nothing else. Drove on quickly.
