Hoekerd, were you at the right place? We go there twice a year and the area is paved.
Often the same campers. Not a single facility, but that is why we have a camper. Peace and quiet, that is what we are looking for.

In the category of bleak, this place deserves a solid 10. Mud as far as the eye can see. There was a dilapidated "motorhome." Nothing else. Drove on quickly.

Quiet spot along the Rhine, with no amenities. Perfect for a stopover and self-catering, it was a great place for one night. Lots of freighters and cruise ships.
