If you love ships, you'll love this place! Everything is kept very simple, the reception is very friendly, and the view of the locks with the numerous ships is stunning.

when you arrive take the entrance straight ahead, and have a great spot, if you are on time, you are at the front with a view of the lock and the enormous ships that pass in front of you, beautiful
Follow the terrain via a narrow path at the back, then you come to a sales point where you can check in, here you can also sit in a conservatory or covered beach bench with a snack and drink.
toilets are available, simple but clean.
Showering is not possible.

A run-down parking space in the middle of nowhere! €24 in the first row. Electricity: €5 flat rate, throttled! Unfortunately, it is not possible to blow-dry your hair as the fuse keeps blowing. 
The area has nothing to offer. 
For a state capital like Kiel wants to be, it is really disgraceful!
