A beautifully situated campsite almost directly on the Elbe River.

We had previously looked at the other campsites in town, but we liked this one better.

The vehicles at the ferry landing didn't bother us.

There are no water or waste disposal facilities at this location, however, drinking water and wastewater disposal are available in town.

Beautiful spot right before the ferry crossing the Elbe. No amenities. Avoid driving here to avoid the traffic jams near Hamburg. Ferry waits can be up to four hours.

Early July 2025 stayed one night. You are on a parking space at a sports facility. A very quiet place. We paid 16 euros including electricity and access to sanitary facilities and showers. The showers are perfect. There is a service point for water intake, emptying toilet, gray water discharge, etc. Great place for transit. Tip: fill up with cheap diesel in the center.
