The location is good. It's only about 800 meters across the pedestrian bridge to the ferry to Cadiz. There are also several restaurants along the way. The only downside is the heavy litter; there's trash lying around everywhere that's clearly not being cleaned up. At least, that's what we observed today, Monday, April 27, 2026.

There are no amenities other than the beach and trash bins (toilets only available during peak season). A nice place to visit the city center and to catch the ferry to Cadiz. There are some permanent residents, but we weren't bothered by them.

This is a great place for an overnight stay. €10 per 24 hours. There is now also a toilet, Dixie, next to the entrance at the garbage container. Via the footbridge you enter the center of Santa Anna. Walk to the terminal and take the boat to Cadiz. For €2.90 you have a single ticket p/p. Cadiz is a great city. Narrow streets, terraces and stately buildings. Nice market for cheap tapas and beer. Lots to see. We enjoyed it.
