We're located outside the gate with electricity, but we can use all the facilities. You can pay at a machine at the CP location and get a code on your receipt for the showers, etc. ... Even the machine for cleaning your chemical toilet is free. We had a delicious pizza and all in all a bit expensive, but very nice by the water and close to the village.

Beautiful campsite located on Lake Vattern.
you walk along the water through a park to the pleasant village of Hjo. The campsite is clean and it is a wonderful place to stay. You can also take a nice walk there of about 14 km.

Stay 21-22jun23. Do not stand on the CP spots. choose a place in row 10 to 21. Gives you a beautiful view over the lake and you are standing on grass. Sanitary fine. Nice cycling to the center of Hjo with a beautiful park and a beautiful retro cinema, next to it is the VVV. The campsite gave us a discount voucher for the coffee/tea shop Njuta. Definitely visit there you can sit outside and people watch.
