It looks more like a car park than a camper spot, but the sign is there. There is water, you can empty your waste, empty the toilet, and even have electricity! We paid €8 at the machine. We slept there and were the only ones there. We definitely didn't feel unsafe. You can walk straight into the town via the footbridge.

Perfect location just a few minutes walk to old town. Pay machine is not working so ...in reality its free...😁
The area is used by locals to park their cars during daytime so the 15 places according to Information is not available, we were 5 motorhome this night and it was full.

We were on the spot today, but were turned away. The parking lot was closed until further notice. Luckily we found something else 4 km from Florence.
