We were here in January. A great location for cycling to Lecce.
Beautiful green spaces between factories and workshops. Sanitary facilities were very basic, and the water wasn't hot.
Because there wasn't much sun for the panels, we really needed the electricity for heating.
Beware: you have to pay a hefty extra charge per kWh!
We spent €10 per day on electricity on top of the €20 price.

We called, and a friendly man came to the campsite. We were able to use the shuttle service. It cost €45 in total.
We used it for an overnight stay, and I wouldn't recommend staying there for longer. The site is very small, and the ground is sandy, which (now in autumn) gets dirty in the morning, so you'll have to take your camper with you.
The sanitary facilities are far below par: one toilet and one shower (which you have to pay for separately).

The site is about 8 km from the center of Lecce, but the shuttle service works perfectly, and at €20 for two people there and back, it's not excessive! Everything is there, although the bathroom facilities are quite basic, but there is a shower with hot water, although there's a charge!
