We were given a spot on the large meadow where it was very windy. There are many geese walking around, but they didn't bother us. The sanitary facilities are neat and clean. It is very nice cycling along the bulb fields and through the dunes to the sea.

We booked as advertised, right next to the tulip fields. Unfortunately, the fields are empty this year – the description for 2026 should have been updated long ago. Furthermore, the price is no longer accurate: we paid the daily rate of €33.44 (not €26.16) for two people in a motorhome – so it hasn't been updated either. Sadly, the pitches/meadow have become a habitat for wild geese, with all the droppings that entails.

A campsite to return to if you're looking for an overnight stay in the area. Clean and good sanitary facilities. Den Helder is easily accessible by bike, so is Texel. Callantsoog too. We were satisfied.
