very nice campsite, beautiful sheltered spots, clean sanitary facilities and very friendly people.

Really great, slightly quirky campsite. The owner and her daughter worked really hard to make our stay a pleasure, including letting us use her personal ironing board. 
Train from Isole della Femmine to Palermo is excellent. Full details in a briefing by campsite owner each night. Fantastic

Excellent starting point to visit Palermo by train. For newcomers, it is explained in 3 languages how to get to the city with a map and train schedule. You can even order the tickets for the train and they will be picked up for you, what an excellent service. It is also a nice, shady campsite and the facilities are well maintained. A bit difficult to maneuver between the trees, but with 7.50 meters it's ok. Also room for larger ones.
