Fine campsite, outdated but clean, restaurant within walking distance

Fine, rustic campsite. Sanitary facilities are indeed basic, but okay.
Chaves is within cycling distance, but there are occasional steep stretches of road. Enjoyed cycling in the surrounding area.
In short: nothing wrong with this campsite.

Great campsite for a one-night stay. Quiet. Friendly welcome from the English-speaking manager. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean. We cycled to Chaves and had a day meal together for €28 including wine. There's a large LeClerc supermarket in the village. We paid €12.50 including electricity. Wi-Fi is spotty.
