this is closed for campers BUT next door is a large parking lot for busses and campers. 24 hours €25,50

This is now closed to motorhomes. Wasn't able to park anywhere in Chamonix in town either.  Very busy and everywhere are 2m high barriers.  Booked a campsite in the end, just outside Chamonix , only 15 minutes by bus to the cable car. 
Don't park at Carrefour car park as they are taping vans  around with brown  packing tape. Seen 3 like it and one poor french  lady trying to wipe it off her windscreen. 🙈

4 signs: no parking for campers. Electronic height meter at entrance: barrier does not open at >2.20m. 
Also a ban of >3.5Ton.
