We regularly travel to Denmark with our campervan and usually stop at this location. It can be a bit noisy, but the place remains fantastic. You can easily walk into Velje, and shops are within walking distance. We love coming here, even now on January 1st, it's wonderfully quiet. In winter, there are four permanent, demarcated pitches.

Electricity is not free. But a toilet available and showers. Still a good place to visit Vejle

Apparently an uncomfortable and sparse area, but in reality it is in a convenient strategic position for visiting the center and also for the tourist port. The services are a little distant but well structured and comfortable, complete with everything. The wifi does not reach the rest area (to be improved!). Fairly quiet at night.
