I was a bit misled by the term "nature camping." The campsite is truly beautiful, right by the sea and beautiful beaches. Hence the 3 stars.

It's really crowded, there's graffiti in the restrooms, and it's quite expensive (60 euros for a family).

Large campsite 4.5km from the beach with dunes and forest. Bread delivery service, choice of sunny or shady spots. Restaurants, bike path to the Polish border. Not cheap, but highly recommended.

We actually love Erlengrundplatz and have been coming here for decades. Usually in the early or late season. Ückeritz is small and beautiful and has a lot of nature to offer. However, all hedges have now been cleared on the square and it is now like a military training area. The boundary posts were probably provided by road construction and thus offer the charm of a motorway. We won't come back. Pity!
