fine place to stop. barriers came down around 10pm but no one asked us to leave. quiet night but noisy morning. toilets good and open all night.

Motorhome parking is available in this mixed parking area, which overlooks Belfast Lough and, unlike the adjacent Jordanstown Loughshore Caravan Park, there is no charge.  All visitors have access to the cafe, which provides hot and chilled drinks and (good) ice-cream; public toilets, which close in the evening; a children's playground; and outdoor gym.  

Quiet at night as entrance (but not exit) barriers are in operation. 

Can be busy!

Public parking place on the water with many visitors including at the playground and the snack bar. Half an hour cycling via the bike path along the coast from Belfast city center. Located on a busy main road.
