It is a massive campsite. If you are on the camper spots you are far from the showers. If you choose the camping part on the Elbe, you should not stand at the back. because there are only 4 showers for 300 camping spots on the waterfront. Neat, but far too few and also paid. And you only have a view if you are on the water. What is noticeable is that there are many groups. In short: do not stand for too long. Cycling along the Elbe is 👍

Stayed early August, booked online at home via the website. Electricity and showers have to be paid for. 
On the site for the campers there are only toilets. To shower you have to go to the other side. It was very busy at the showers there. Recommended is the beach bar, lovely to sit at sunset.

We were stranded for one night right on the banks of the Elbe, the view was really great. However, we had to pay €55 for this, which is not a small amount. It was annoying that you could only get shower tokens with cash from a machine. Not good for the price of the high parking fee. It would be good to put up a few bike racks in front of it so that you can cycle the sometimes really long way to the shower.
