GOOD - Nice location by the river as it is one of only 2 campgrounds near wonderful Alquézar. BAD --Very few old, moldy and cramped bathrooms / showers - so bad I skipped the showers.

Worst of 40+ campgrounds in Spain & Portugal that I visited over 3 months. Needs major upgrade and many more bathrooms.

Easter weekend, lots of families. That is why the advice is to pitch your tent at the back of the elongated campsite. Wonderfully quiet, but it is a 600-meter walk to the toilet block. Plenty of water pressure in the showers, but for three days it was too hot and impossible to mix. They also struggled with keeping things clean during this busy weekend. Good bread service. A poor starting point for cycling tours, but all the better for challenging hikes. No one should miss the gorge hike in Alquézar.

We stayed here for two nights. The site is very nice, with huge pitches, friendly staff, and clean toilets and showers. The only weak point is the water supply and waste disposal. The taps need updating. €16.00 per night.
