Centrally located, parceled pitches right next to the lock; watching the ships is exciting, great atmosphere! Online booking is recommended, as it was almost fully booked over the weekend.

The bathroom facilities need a serious overhaul. The shower costs 1 euro for 7 minutes and is nice and warm. Wi-Fi is no longer available. Electricity has to be paid for separately, so I'll leave it at that. You can pay at a kiosk, but it's only in German. Fortunately, the owner is present during the day. The view of the Bremerhaven skyline is definitely worth it. In winter, it can get quite windy at this CP.

A lovely, quiet campsite with everything you need.

The view of the skyline is worth it.

It seems only the check-in and check-out areas have been modernized. The sanitary facilities could also use an update.

We'll be back, as there's so much to discover in Bremerhaven.
