Everything has been said. Go eat at Adega do Convento. It is a better restaurant, offering top quality and service for a very acceptable price.

Mafra and the palace are definitely worth a visit! We spent two very peaceful nights here. The campsite is fantastic and ideally located: right next to the palace and just a short walk from the town center. Shops and a great market hall are just around the corner. Highly recommended!

Just stopped here to go to the garage. Looked decent stop with service point. A few motorhomes parked some may just be visiting like us. Lovely looking village with an impressive building.
