Pitch costs €11 plus €2 tourist tax per person. Dogs and toilets are free. Showers cost €0.50.
A €5 deposit is required for the card, which you get back upon checkout.
Very good location for hiking, right on the Rennsteig trail, 3 km from the town.
There were three of us on the huge site, perhaps because it had been stormy and raining 😃.

Relatively generously marked parking spaces on a tarmac area. Pretty horizontal. The place is certainly not super nice, but it is only a few meters from the Rennsteig. The village is also easy to reach on foot. Definitely the better choice compared to the other parking space at the front on the main road.

Unfortunately still construction site, therefore noisy. Full price, but now with showers and toilets. You should be a biathlon fan.
