The lawn is well-maintained, but the restrooms could be cleaned more often. Some of the toilets were dirty in the morning.

We arrived after 5:00 PM. Reception was closed and there was no information about the price. No one was available by phone either.

The next morning we learned that the price was £30, regardless of whether we had electricity. We had opted not to have electricity and still had to pay the full price. That's unfair.

neat clean campsite for a fair price: £28 per night incl electricity.
Nice walk to the castle and estate and delicious lunch in a nearby village where there is also a bakery, butcher and greengrocer.

beautiful, clean, quiet campsite with all amenities. we paid £28.00 for one night incl. electricity. The castle tour is very worthwhile.
