Facilities are basic but sufficient for us.
To our surprise, none of the reviews mentioned what bothered us most: the irritating stench from the sugar factory next to the campsite. After two nights of poor sleep, we requested and were immediately given a different pitch: on the campsite side (to the left of reception).

We were a bit disappointed; all the facilities were mediocre. Not a place we would stay again.

A lovely campsite for a stopover or for fishing enthusiasts, ideal for a longer stay with several fishing ponds.

The shower building looks old, but it's modern inside.

A 30-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride from Newark, though along a busy road with a separate cycling/walking path.

Newark is a small town with history and lovely restaurants.

In July 2025, we paid €33 per night for a campervan, two people, and electricity.
