We found this a really good campsite. Pick your own pitch. Large site but a lot of toilets , showers and sinks for clothes and dishes. Plenty hot water throughout. Has a few washing machines and can hang out clothes ropes. Very near a lovely sandy beach and restaurants and bars. Short walk into town. Lovely little town with decent supermarket. Would easily go back.

So disappointed having driven through spraypainted ‘LOCALS ONLY’ signs to get anywhere near the beach which looked perfect for a surf….the height barrier presented itself. we are 3.2m not excessivly high but no need for this surely?!?

A true campsite for surf enthusiasts. The restrooms are cleaned, but the sand brought in by surfers and their wetsuits is impossible to clean. Driving to the campsite requires some patience and calm; it's tight but manageable, with a few steep sections. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The beach is fantastic, and on a nice weekend day, it's packed with local families.
