We stayed for 3 nights, paying €35 per night. This type of campsite is much more expensive. The toilet and shower doors don't close properly.

This campsite is an excellent base for visits to the beautiful historic port city of Kavala, the archaeological site of Philippi, and the island of Thasos.

Kavala is a hidden gem in Macedonia, featuring, among other things, an impressive Venetian fortress.

With ACSI, you pay 31 Euros all year round, including electricity.

There is a good bus connection from the campsite to the city.

You shouldn't look at the campsites in Greece through your Dutch eyes. This campsite stands out very positively compared to quite a few others we have seen here. Yes, one toilet door doesn't lock. But all the others do! Yes, one shower might overflow. But the others? It is quite green here with plenty of shade from trees. The restaurant is dirt cheap and has tasty food. A fine campsite (when there isn't a party).
