The weather wasn't exactly cooperative, but upon arrival we were surprised by this beautiful spot. There is a fine restaurant 100 meters away and an incredibly pleasant village to walk through. It is situated along the bike path, and late in the evening it is pitch black and dead silent. A tractor with a passenger trailer behind it also passed by, carrying a group of 10 older men on an adventure. They slept at the local guesthouse and moved on the next morning. That is an adventure too.

It's a very nicely laid-out spot for €5 a night.

One of the nicest places we've ever been.
Lovely, authentic surroundings, a great restaurant nearby, and right on the water.
