Great free parking, you can fill up with water there but otherwise there are no facilities. Within walking distance of the old town of Lucca.

Perfect, shaded, and quiet parking. 10 minutes and you're in the center of the magnificent city of Lucca. As for amenities, only water.

We were here in October 2025. A large gravel parking lot with a paved lane in the middle. It's striking how many cars are driving around, some of whom are taking driving lessons without an L sign. This doesn't cause any inconvenience. The markets are on the public road around the parking lot. There were still a lot of fairground attractions, but we weren't bothered by them. It's a few hundred meters from the Lucca fortress.
