Beautifully situated large campsite with spacious pitches by the water and lovely views. Pitch 244 is the best spot for the evening sun. Sanitary facilities are very clean. Showers require a PIN code (SEK 6 for 3 minutes). A limited restaurant/bar and small shop are available. Kalmar is 18km away and easily accessible by bike. The price is steep: SEK 1330 for 2 days including electricity. This was during midsummer, though, and booking directly required a minimum of 3 days. Booking 2 days was possible via the Campingation website.

Beautifully situated campsite where almost all pitches have a view of the water.

Very quiet in June.

Sanitary facilities, shop, and Wi-Fi are good.

Cycling to Kalmar (a nice town) is doable, but the bike ride doesn't add anything.
Alternatively, you can park your camper at one of the large parking lots near the shopping center and cycle from there to the castle and town center.
There are few walking opportunities because the campsite is located at the end of a headland.

Still a great campsite for us passing through. We were here 2 years ago as well. A large family campsite, but still quiet enough in the spring. Very friendly reception staff and a small shop for basic necessities. Also a shop for souvenirs etc. The kebab pizza from the bistro is highly recommended. We were assigned a pitch but were allowed to change it ourselves. You don't have to pay for showering, as mentioned earlier.
