Camping Juliusplate is simply a pleasant campsite. Sanitary facilities are fine. Lots of trees and lots of songbirds. Close to the Weser and with a sandy beach. Don't forget to walk around the lake and in the nature reserve across the road.

Tip: cycle along the Weser. We had a great time here.

### Coendershof - 5/5
*September 2025*

A lovely, open campsite with ample hiking and cycling opportunities along the Weser River. Friendly manager with good explanations. Excellent sanitary facilities. We stayed for two nights for €57.00. The campsite was completely full over the weekend.

### Vlotopwegmetdecamper - 4/5

The campsite is located in a pleasant area (for cycling and walking). It's well-maintained, has clean sanitary facilities, and is staffed with friendly staff.

Beware: the barrier doesn't open until 3:00 PM, and if you're unlucky, you might have to wait dangerously on the road (it's better to drive a bit further to wait at the parking area near the ferry). That was our only drawback.
The price is higher than stated. We paid €100.00, including electricity and showers, for 3 nights.
