A very quiet place to stand with a view of the mountains. The facilities at the pool can be used. There is also a washing up area and a hose to fill water. I have not seen anything else. The road seems to have been moved, at the end follow the camping sign and you will get there.

A fairly quiet campsite 12km from Akureyri. Indeed much better than the Hamrar campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities, spacious places. A lovely swimming pool. The campsite was not expensive 4,600 for 2 people with electricity.

There is a beautiful campsite about 12 km from Akureyri! Many pitches, including pitches nearby the river. Excellent facilities in the swimming pool building. Recommended!
