Great location, stunning views of the waterfall, and spacious grassy pitches. The kitchen is excellent. The restaurant and indoor seating are very nice. However, the sanitary facilities are really outdated; most doors don't have locks or hooks that don't work properly.

Tip for the owner: fix those locks on the doors, then this campsite will get 5 stars.

One star deducted for the showers and toilets. Very old, with cardboard walls, little privacy when showering, as two showers are together. But, everything else was great. Really nice people, a great restaurant with two daily menus to choose from. We had salmon. The site is idyllically located by the river with birch trees and a view of a giant waterfall. The hospitality creates a really nice atmosphere.

Great place to stay, price is now NOK 390 with electricity.
You can walk nicely, to the waterfall and to Witgenstein's house... see the walking routes. You can eat in the Kro until 17:00.
